Vetstream, a leading provider of digital clinical references and educational content for veterinary professionals, and Fear Free LLC, the pioneering organisation dedicated to reducing fear, anxiety, and stress in pets, proudly announce their strategic alliance aimed at enhancing animal welfare globally.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the veterinary industry, bringing together two powerhouses committed to improving the lives of animals and the professionals who care for them.

By combining Vetstream’s expertise in providing high-quality, evidence-based resources via its Vetlexicon service, with Fear Free’s innovative approach to promoting emotional wellbeing in animals, veterinary teams, and pet owners, the alliance seeks to revolutionise veterinary practice standards.

Through this alliance, Fear Free certified veterinary practices will have access to Vetstream’s library of educational materials including client factsheets, as well discounts to Vetstream’s premier service, Vetlexicon. In return, Fear Free will be endorsing Vetstream’s behavioural content, working with Vetstream to add additional behavioural content to Vetstream’s comprehensive library, and promoting Vetstream’s Vetlexicon to its audience.

“By aligning with Fear Free, we can further support our mission by ensuring that emotional wellbeing is at the forefront of veterinary practice and enabling Fear Free practices to not only have the peer reviewed client factsheets on their practice websites, but access to Vetlexicon point-of-care clinical content of more than 25,000 peer reviewed articles, images, videos, sounds and diagnostic trees on the clinical care of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and reptiles,” Vetstream CEO Dr Mark Johnston said.

Fear Free CEO Randy Valpy added: “Fear Free is committed to transforming the veterinary experience for pets and their caregivers.

“Our partnership with Vetstream allows us to leverage cutting-edge resources and reach a wider audience of veterinary professionals, empowering them to prioritise the emotional needs of their patients.”
